We’re committed to low-impact, sustainable farming methods
As most people know, dairy farming has a huge impact on the environment. Because we’re a small scale, mobile operation, we can produce great tasting milk without costing the earth.
We move our cows around to ensure our cow’s pee is dispersed over a wide area. This means far fewer nitrates get leached into the soil and groundwater – a major problem for large, highly concentrated dairy herds. We also plant nitrate-absorbing crops like wheat in areas where our cows have grazed, to help out mother nature’s recycling efforts. |

Reusable packaging
Out of concern for the environment we’ve chosen to use only reusable packaging for our milk. Our café customers get their milk in 16 litre cans, which we wash and reuse over and over. A single café will save about 12,000 plastic bottles a year by switching to our milk!
At markets we supply our milk in glass bottles. Customers buy a bottle once, wash it at home then refill it whenever they need more milk. Simple, easy, good! |
